There was no school today, so I planned to spend the day running errands, grabbing lunch with my sister, and doing something creative (I know, ‘something creative’ sounds really vague). The first item on my agenda was to have my last name officially changed. Our marriage certificate came in the mail last week, and I planned to bring it with me to the Social Security Office. My birth certificate was among the other documents needed. Unfortunately, I locked it away in a safe, a
